
Ezra points out that it seems that, as people have ceased to be able to borrow money against their homes, they are borrowing more on credit cards. The US debt problem could thus still be growing.

Stop using credit to add to existing debt. Cut back on spending. Make a plan to meet credit bills. For help making a plan, call one of the reliable non-profit credit counseling agencies.
